Strategic goal and mission of the department
Effectiveness and Environmental Safety
Determination of the biological and economic effectiveness of plant protection products and their compliance with environmental requirements.
The main purpose of registration trials of pesticides and agrochemicals in the field of determining biological effectiveness and developing usage regulations is an objective assessment based on research results. Regulations must ensure the effectiveness of products and their safety for human health and the environment.
The tasks of registration trials include:
- determination of biological effectiveness;
- establishing optimal concentration and application rates;
- establishing the most effective timing and frequency of application.
Effective and Safe Plant Protection
The mission of the department is to ensure effective and safe plant protection through the organization of state registration of pesticides and agrochemicals, conducting registration and production trials, expert evaluation of biological and economic effectiveness of products, as well as the development of scientifically justified usage regulations.
The main goal is to preserve public health, protect the environment, and ensure sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
