Phytopathology Laboratory

The staff of the Laboratory of Phytopathology studies pathogens, causes and conditions of their occurrence, patterns of development and spread. Phytosanitary monitoring of fields is carried out. Seeds and seedlings are examined to identify diseases of crops even before planting. They diagnose plant diseases and develop systems of protective measures.

Laboratory activity

Diagnostics of diseases of agricultural crops and preparation of recommendations for their protection. Improvement of seed material, phytoexpertiza with the use of protective and stimulating compounds. Determination of bactericidal and fungicidal properties of chemical and biological preparations used in plant protection against diseases of agricultural crops.
