About the branch
The Kostanay branch is engaged in conducting systematic research in the field of plant protection and quarantine, developing and implementing an effective plant protection system against pests, diseases, and weeds, and supporting the phytosanitary security of the region.
Strategic goal and mission
Strategic goal:
Development and implementation of theoretical and practical scientific-based measures for plant protection and quarantine, ensuring maximum productivity of crops in the Kostanay region.
The mission:
Assistance to agricultural producers in the field of integrated plant protection against harmful objects.
Activities of the branch:
- Conducting scientific research under the PCF of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other projects
- Increasing the yield of agricultural crops
- Conducting phytosanitary expertise and seed health improvement
- Carrying out registration and production trials
- Providing consulting services for agricultural enterprises
- Scientific support for implementing protective measures from seed to harvest
- Monitoring harmful organisms in cereals and diversification crops in Northern and Western Kazakhstan
