Laboratory activities:

- Phytosanitary monitoring of agrophytocenoses and development of protective measures against pests of agricultural crops.
Services provided
Surveys and phytosanitary monitoring of agricultural crops at a mobile car laboratory in order to identify and identify pests, as well as the development of protective measures against them.
Main Objectives of the Laboratory:
- Study of the species composition of harmful insects and other invertebrates (mites, mollusks, etc.), as well as their entomophages inhabiting agrobiocenoses of Kazakhstan, with the prospect of creating an electronic database.
- Study of the current state of the fauna, distribution patterns, ecology and biology of harmful insects and other invertebrates (mites, mollusks, etc.), as well as their entomophages in the studied agroecosystems.
- Development of measures for the conservation of biodiversity and the balanced use of beneficial invertebrates inhabiting the studied agroecosystems.
- Development of an integrated plant protection system against harmful insects and other invertebrates (mites, mollusks, etc.), aimed at reducing the pesticide load on agrophytocenoses and providing scientific support for plant quarantine to ensure the biological, environmental and food security of the country.
- Development of recommendations, methodological guidelines and manuals for agricultural producers on planning and implementing protective measures against harmful invertebrates.
- Creation and expansion of a collection fund of harmful invertebrates and entomophages of fruit crops (fruit and berry crops).
- Providing consultations to farmers on the protection of fruit and berry crops from harmful organisms.
- Conducting training lectures and seminars on cultivation technologies and integrated protection of agricultural crops from harmful organisms.
